WHAT IS A YELLOW CARD??
Being totally into football NOT, I actually had to ask someone, but yes it is the warning card given before your sent off the field and out of the game.
It's also the name of the hottest new film to come out of Africa this year.
YELLOW CARD centres around rising young soccer star Tiyane. At just seventeen he's a hero on the soccer field, a hero at school and definitely a hero with the girls. Tiyane reckons he can take anything as it comes. But then, ya know, life goes outa control when he gets his girlfriend pregnant, but then decides he's really in love with this gorgeous girl Juliet. Only problem is she's kinda outa his league - you know big house, big car, private school and a mother that doesn't like Tiyane AT ALL. But just when Tiyane thinks everything is cool life goes majorly haywire when he ends up having to be Mum for a day.
This film was shot in and around Harare (as in the capital of Zimbabwe, Africa) and features a kick ass soundtrack with musos from all over Africa.
Yellow Card is seriously funny but it's also seriously serious. In case you haven't worked it out by now, we're talking about sex and taking responsibility for what you do - coz none of us want to get stuck with the consequences.
So take a cruise around the site, find out the whole story and check out the stars including our main man Leroy, Linda and Kasamba who is da bomb - I kid you not.
